I have a question...

So I've been hearing a lot of people saying they'd like to see me put out comic pages faster. I started out doing one page a week to not put too much pressure on myself, especially just starting out. I've been getting better since then and I feel like I put a lot of effort and detail in each page now. That, however, has kind of boxed me in a little bit because each page takes me about 4, sometimes 5 days to do. I'm kind of a perfectionist too, so that is partially my fault for spending too much time on unimportant details.

Anyway, I believe I could be able to do 2 pages a week, but that would require me to spend less time and effort on details. If I were to do that, I'd try to make each page look as close to the same standard as they are currently, but would be slightly less polished and refined looking. I know how it is to be excited to see more of a comic or something like that and have to slog through only getting a tiny bit once a week. Believe me, it's the same for me even as the person making it. This story in particular is one I'm proud of and excited for you guys to see it for yourselves and I've also got more stories I'm excited to draw in the future. I want to show you guys more of what I have in store for you and I don't want to be holding myself back for so long if it turns out the level of detail was never a big deal to you guys.

Basically, I'm asking if you'd like me to continue on doing one page a week like I've been doing or do you want me to do two pages a week with less detail. I want to know your guy's opinions on it so comment or if you don't want to comment, you can just vote what you'd like me to do.

You’re welcome. I love the quality, the story, and the characters. I just wish I had a “chapter” rather than short dialogue from post to post. I definitely understand you have your process and ultimately it is up to you. I’ll support you as long as you’re consistent.

Thank you, PubFeed, I appreciate that. Haha, wank material. Although that is the primary purpose, it feels incredibly soulless to me to create characters with nothing to offer beyond sex appeal, so I'm glad you get it. If you ever do find yourself with time to create the things you wanted to, I'd be excited to see what you did. The story idea you said you had sounded pretty cool.

Thanks, Emmanuel. I'm always trying to make sure what I do is something worth supporting.

I appreciate it, The Clean Pinch. I try to get a little better with each art I do. It's weird because even though I've been posting my art for about 2 years, I've only just recently felt like I've begun to find my style that I feel proud of. Who knows, maybe I'll get so good I can do a full page in 2 seconds haha.

Haha, thank you, Blue Reaper. That's really nice of you.

Thanks, Aries. Yeah, it does make sense. I have been kind of doing something similar lately. It is kind of hard for me to draw really small on paper (I like to do my sketches on paper because I like the way it feels better. I could try sketching digitally though. I might turn out to like it now that I understand digital art better), but I've been condensing groups of dialogue together into one panel where it feels natural so that the less important scenes don't overstay their welcome and the story will hopefully move along faster. Thank you, that's a good suggestion.

Thanks, Jack West. That is a good idea to see if I can do it. I'll have to try it on a week where I don't have too much else to do.

Thank you guys for all the comments! I'll respond to them when I have some time. I don't want you guys to think I'm ignoring you.

I personally like the pace at which the comic is coming out. I like the level of detail and quality in each page. You're doing exactly what I wanted to do when I was younger but never had time. You're content is exactly what I would be doing right now if I could. It's a great thing to be able to do more but don't feel pressured to be a content machine. You are crafting a story, not just wank material.

Quality over quantity my friend

Emmanuel

Take as much time as you need, its actually good when you take your time on them. That’s how artist get better at their own artwork and style 👍

The Clean Pinch

You are one of the few artists who still do quality work, never change.

Blue reaper

I like the quality of your comics and I would like to see them happen faster but I understand it takes time. Typically you do about 4 panels per page. Is it possible for you to keep the same quality and pace but double panels? I’m not sure if what I’m saying makes sense to you.

Aries

I think the comic is excellent thus far, maybe try two pages in one week once to see how it goes? I prefer your high quality tho
