Hello my sweet baby angels,

Sorry for the radio silence lately. Camp took a LOT out of me (how the heck do teachers do it? It destroyed me lol) and now I have covid yaaaay :(

BUT here are a few dates and places I will be in September signing The Weight. It's a real book and people are reading it. WTF. I hope to see some of you out there in the world! It's been a long time...

Sept. 4 is the launch party at The Research and Development Store at Mass Moca st 5 pm, in North Adams, MA. This is such a cool place and I feel really lucky to get to have my hometown signing there!! And James Sturm (who I've known for 20 years, which is crazy) will be there to ask me questions in front of everyone so I don't have to do it by myself.

Sept 13-14 is the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, MD. I'll be there all weekend signing books at the D&Q table, and also I think I'm going to be on a panel.

Sept. 21 I'll be at the Brooklyn Book Festival

Oct. 2 I'll be a visiting artist at The Center For Cartoon Studies

Oct. 11 I'll be doing a signing at Comics n' More in Easthampton, MA at 4 pm

Phew. This is a lot, a lot more people time than I'm used to, but I'm trying to remember it's about the book, not me. And I'm really proud of the book. Lynda Barry said something so beautiful about it last night that I broke down in tears. It made me feel really whole in that moment, and reminded me why I'm doing all this promotional garbage. I worked really hard and for a long time on this thing, and finally people are going to read it.
