[FMMISM] Chapter 45: Francesca Prelati
Added 2024-07-17 01:09:24 +0000 UTCSomewhere in the eastern part of the United States.
In the stratosphere, twenty kilometers above ground, a massive airship over two hundred meters long glided slowly.
Such a massive airship was actually the base and magical workshop of Francesca Prelati.
In a dim interior room of the airship, the workshop's owner stood before a crystal ball projecting a scene, unable to contain her joy.
Francesca Prelati, who had lived for countless centuries, had long silver hair cascading down to the floor and a childishly cute face.
Her prominently curved upper body was clad in a vertically striped top resembling gothic lolita attire, while her lower half wore a short skirt with visible panty and garter belts connected to stockings. Despite being indoors, she held a gothic lace parasol in her hand, twirling it incessantly above her head.

Watching the scene in the crystal ball, Francesca's eyes sparkled like a child's, her cheeks flushed as she burst into laughter.
"Hehehe, hahahaha! Incredible, incredible! Ragna actually managed to summon a Gigantic Horror? It took others decades of attempts to succeed!"
Francesca laughed uncontrollably, collapsed onto the floor, clutching her stomach, and continued to laugh, her thighs moving up and down softly.
"Clearly, he didn't follow what I wrote in the grimoire, where he needed to sacrifice himself, but actually... devoured the Gigantic Horror! What kind of thought process leads to that? Instead of becoming its Spiritual Core, he made it his shell! Heehee, this guy is definitely insane! As expected of my dear friend~"
Having had her fill of laughter, Francesca rolled over on the ground, her expression a mix of excitement and bewilderment as she looked at the crystal ball in the center of the room.
"Aahh, right after becoming a Gigantic Horror, he went straight to the port to cause trouble! That's so like him! A giant monster appearing in Tokyo Bay through the fog, heehee, this plot development is just too fantastic!"
In the crystal ball, the Gigantic Horror swung its two enormous tentacles and countless smaller ones, launching attacks on the fighter jets surrounding it at close range.
Its attacks were highly effective, as every swing of its tentacles, resembling colossal pythons, brought down several fighter jets from the sky easily.
Clearly, even though it was a Gigantic Horror, it was impossible to hit high-speed fighter jets so efficiently with tentacles alone, so what method did Ragna use to hit down those fast-moving aircraft?
Francesca was puzzled and approached the crystal ball with a puffed-up little face.
"Strange... a Gigantic Horror shouldn't have EMP capabilities, right?"
After observing for a while, Francesca finally uncovered its secrets.
"Ahh, so that's how it is... Heh, his approach is so nasty."
A cold light flashed in Francesca's eyes.
"It's not only eating and regeneration, even the behaviors of replication and proliferation... Isn't that a bit dangerous?"
"Ragna, how long can your humanity... last?"
At this moment, the excited expression on Francesca's lovely face disappeared without a trace. As if changing into a different person, she revealed terrifyingly sharp teeth in the darkness.
"Hehehe... If that's the case, let's fall... fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall!"
"Yes, kill all the humans in Tokyo, Ragna! Show me your true form—Ahh, my organs itch..."
Suddenly, as Francesca's demonic expression vanished and was replaced with a blushing expression, she covered her abdomen with both hands.
Soon, her crimson lips parted slightly, and she teasingly licked her moistened lips.
"No, this isn't good... I'm starting to crave again... Just a moment ago..."
Approaching the crystal ball, Francesca's right hand slid smoothly down her flat, smooth belly.
As she lifted the edge of her stripped top with her slender fingers, Francesca's shining eyes remained fixed on the Gigantic Horror's tyrannical figure ravaging everything in the crystal ball.
"Shall we continue using you as a side dish, Ragna?"

At this moment, the situation over Tokyo Bay could only be described as utter despair.
Even though the squadrons of fighter jets and three Arleigh Burke-class destroyers were not merely taking hits and were retaliating with full force against the Gigantic Horror, it did little to change the overwhelmingly one-sided battle.
Despite relentless attacks from destroyers and fighter jets, the colossal body of the Gigantic Horror remained unscathed.
Of course, this wasn't due to modern weaponry being ineffective.
Initially, there were probing artillery strikes from several naval guns, Apaches, and main battle tank cannons. Under the barrage, the Gigantic Horror's massive body fragmented and splattered blood and mucus, instantly dyeing the entire sea crimson.
Seeing this scene, someone in the Pentagon couldn't help but mock.
"Hah! Monsters in movies are really misleading! In the end, they are just some carbon-based life forms, completely vulnerable!"
Following the principle of pressing the advantage, the Pentagon eagerly authorized the use of missiles.
Missiles launched from destroyers and fighter jets whizzed through the air, greeting the grotesque flesh mound with astonishing light and heat, evaporating the Gigantic Horror's colossal body to near-nothingness.
However, just as the Pentagon triumphantly retrieved champagne from the freezer to celebrate, they were astonished to find that the Gigantic Horror had not perished.
Before long, the remaining flesh boiled and bubbled, and in mere seconds, the Gigantic Horror, which had lost three-quarters of its body, had fully regenerated to its original form.
It was not unexpected.
After all, the Gigantic Horror controlled by Ragna possessed regeneration capabilities surpassing even Gilles's version of Gigantic Horror.
Its regeneration, like its appetite, seemed endless.
Despite the concerted saturation attacks by the combined forces, their firepower simply couldn't match its recovery speed.
Even the final resort of using bunker busters, where fighter jets created a tunnel through the Gigantic Horror's body from above, proved futile.
'Stop scratching around.'
Ragna smirked faintly, extending the Gigantic Horror's main tentacle beneath the sea surface.
Amidst the worldwide attention, the tentacle lifted a ten-thousand-ton destroyer along with seawater out of the sea.
Since direct killing still weighed on Ragna psychologically, he decided to toss the destroyer from the sea surface, leaving the fate of those on board to fate.
Simultaneously, Ragna continued to writhe the Gigantic Horror's secondary tentacles, continually dispersing small sea anemone-like larvae of Horrors into the sky.
Soon enough, the sky before dawn was dominated by a barrage composed of nauseating and grotesque small Horrors.
Instinctively, as the small Horrors flew through the air, they sought out fighter jets and instantly disabled them.
Realizing this, the pilots had no choice but to eject and parachute.
Finally, after losing half of its airborne units and two destroyers, the Pentagon issued orders to initiate the second phase of the operation to repel the Gigantic Horror.
Surviving fighter jets began attempting to lure the Gigantic Horror into the distant seas.
Unfortunately, Ragna paid them no mind.
'You want me to move away from the port and then eat your nuclear bomb? I'm sorry but I've seen this kind of plot in movies before.'
Ignoring the military's attempts at luring him, Ragna persisted in heading towards the direction of the aircraft carrier, Independence.
At the same moment, a thought suddenly arose in Ragna's mind amid his frenzy, one that he had never dared to consider before.
After taking down the American aircraft carrier, why not casually cause havoc in the middle of Tokyo?
In other words, at the end of this new millennium, the Holy Grail would provide the world with salvation as promised in the Book of Revelation.
