[TSSIM] Chapter 415: Join Another Dimension?
Added 2024-07-25 22:01:22 +0000 UTCChizuru rubbed her chin while observing Homura up and down.
"Hmm, you calling Miyako 'Senpai' makes you her junior then? Does Miyako like younger guys?"
Homura: "..."
"By the way, what's the deal with Miyako? How did she bring you home and just leave you here alone?" Chizuru frowned.
"Etto, since calling you 'Hoshino-obasan' doesn't seem right, so I'll call you 'Hoshino-san'! Hoshino-san, I think you might be misunderstanding. Hoshino-senpai is currently showing two other people her room—"
Chizuru: "..."
Not bothering to talk to Homura, Chizuru disappeared in a flash.
"She's not misunderstanding, right? Those two are girls..." Homura scratched his head.
With a wry smile, Homura shook his head and then continued drawing.
He added another person to the drawing.
In the end, Homura's finished drawing turned out to be Mya-nee, who had just returned home, squatting in the hallway, rubbing Hinata's head, with Chizuru standing behind Hinata and watching them with a smile.
All three had smiles on their faces, bringing life to the drawing.
Homura intended to make this drawing a gift for this visit.
After considering it for a while, he decided not to sign the drawing, as adding a signature seemed unnecessary.
"So, what do you think?" Homura asked the group that had just returned.
"If it weren't for Senpai's mom suddenly coming in, we almost forgot to come out." Kotori said embarrassed.
"Isn't that good? You girls should chat more." Homura nodded.
"So it's you... I didn't expect you to actually know Miyako and seek out her out." Chizuru said, looking puzzled.
"Well, Senpai is in the same school as us, so we'd know her eventually." Homura said with a smile.
"But why did you seek out my daughter? She can only do these small things." Chizuru pointed toward the cakes and cookies on the table.
"Who says?" Homura glanced at the table. "You know, even with these skills alone, she could definitely open a popular cake shop."
Upon hearing that, Chizuru blinked her eyes in realization.
'Huh? Now that I thought about it, this daughter of mine had some pretty impressive skills! I'll never starve in the future!'
"I was actually hoping to get Senpai to join Another Dimension." Homura revealed his intention.
As soon as he finished speaking, Chizuru's cigarette fell to the ground, while Mya-nee froze.
Hinata, however, didn't pay any attention to their conversation, happily eating her snacks.
"Are you kidding me?! Someone like my daughter can join Another Dimension?!"
Being talked down to by her own mother, Mya-nee felt a bit dejected.
"Why are you so surprised? Don't you know that Senpai has an amazing talent for making clothes?" Homura said confidently.
"So what if she's amazing? You don't really need that kind of talent, do you?" Chizuru curled her lips.
"I do need it." Homura replied with a smile.
"..." Chizuru was speechless.
"Although Senpai mainly makes clothes, her extensive experience in it has given her a broad perspective. Many of her creative ideas can be utilized... So, why not collaborate with Kotori?" Homura explained.
Chizuru raised an eyebrow while Homura turned to Mya-nee.
"Senpai, are you interested?"
"I..." Mya-nee was conflicted.
"I know your hobby is making cosplay costumes, but have you ever thought about designing ones that could become popular?" Homura added.
'Can I?!'
Mya-nee was stunned.
'Now that I think about it… Love Live is Minamiya-san's work and it's still ongoing. So, if I could design and create a set of performance costumes based on what he draws… That would be amazing for a cosplay enthusiast like me, right?!'
"Can I think about it?"
After some thought, Mya-nee still didn't decide immediately.
"No problem, I wasn't forcing you." Homura shrugged with a smile.
"It's surprising, you hit Miyako's soft spot perfectly..." Chizuru sighed.
"If Homura-kun couldn't even do that, Another Dimension wouldn't exist now." Utaha chimed in with a nod.
Upon hearing that, although Chizuru was surprised, she understood that Homura was definitely the biggest factor leading to the quick fame of Another Dimension.
It was not an exaggeration.
Even normies who didn't meddle with otaku stuff came to know about Another Dimension.
Later on, Kotori and Mya-nee exchanged ideas about various costumes, discussing their pros and cons, and if certain changes could improve them.
Meanwhile, Homura and Utaha casually chatted with Chizuru, mostly about school and some work in Another Dimension.
"By the way, Hoshino-senpai, our Otonokizaka's school festival is coming up soon. Do you have time to come?" Kotori suddenly asked.
If it were someone else, they might not have the time, but Mya-nee, who often skipped classes, would definitely have the time if she chose to.
Upon hearing Kotori's question, Homura couldn't help but roll his eyes and chime in, "Kotori, there are still about twenty days left, right? Isn't it a bit early to invite her?"
"..." Kotori fell silent.
"By the way, Sakuragaoka's school festival is coming up soon. It's already in preparation and will officially start on Saturday." Homura said, changing the topic.
"Sakuragaoka?" Mya-nee looked confused and wondered what Sakuragaoka High School had to do with them.
"We have friends at Sakuragaoka. It might not matter to others, but I'm planning to ask for leave from school these two days to go see them." Homura explained.
"Leave?" Utaha frowned. "Isn't it starting on Saturday? Do you really need to go during the preparation?"
"Just to reward them a bit... though they seem to be rewarding themselves all the time." Homura said with a chuckle.
"Sakuragaoka, which Sakuragaoka?" Chizuru pondered for a moment before asking.
"Mom, Sakuragaoka is an all-girls high school." Mya-nee reminded her mother.
"All-girls high school?" Chizuru glanced at Homura. "If it's during the festival day, that's fine, but can you, a boy, really go in during the preparations?"
Homura: "..."
Truthfully, he wasn't sure if he could go in or not, but maybe Kotori would know. After all, wasn't Otonokizaka also an all-girls high school?
"Can I go in, Kotori?" Homura asked.
"Hmm..." Kotori frowned, thinking hard before uncertainly replying, "I don't know either. As far as I remember, I've never seen boys around during the festival preparations."
Homura: "..."
"But maybe if you register, you can go in?" Kotori added, though she wasn't sure herself.
"Forget it." Homura shook his head. "Let's just go together on Saturday. All-girls schools usually have strict rules about these things after all."
"Hoshino-senpai, you should come with us then!" Kotori invited Mya-nee.
"I want to go too! I want to go with Mya-nee!" Hinata shouted loudly, her mouth full of cake crumbs.
"Miyako, you should take Hinata with you." Chizuru shook her head helplessly.
"Mom, aren't you going?" Mya-nee asked hesitantly.
"If it were your school, I'd go take a look. But for other schools, forget it." Chizuru shrugged her shoulders. "Hinata, you'll go with your sister."
"Yatta!" Hinata raised both hands in excitement.
