[TSSIM] Chapter 424: Quirky Homura

Due to everyone enjoying themselves so much, no one planned to attend Sakuragaoka's school festival the next day.

Although they spent most of their time eating, they had almost seen everything at the festival. Going back would mean repeating the same food and games, so Homura and the others really weren't up for spending another day just eating.

===

Sunday.

Drawing was for those who drew, and voice acting was for those who voiced—these were everyone's tasks.

Early in the morning, Homura once again took Another Dimension's voice actors to the animation company.

"Speaking of which, Homura-kun has gained some more popularity, and even Tsumugi-chan and the others have seen a rise in their popularity."

Kotori spoke as they walked together.

"I wonder if this level of popularity is really what they wanted though..." Homura wondered, raising an eyebrow.

"It's mainly because of Mio-chan, right?" Honoka said directly. "Mio-chan is like the old Umi, too shy to want people looking at her."

Umi: "…"

"But there are two who actually like this situation, nyaa!" Rin said, bouncing around the group.

"And one who spoils both of them…" Nozomi smiled slightly.

"Come to think of it… it's like with Honoka-chan, Kotori-chan, and Umi-chan!" Hanayo said and couldn't help but glance at the three of them.

Maki's mouth curled up slightly, thinking Hanayo had hit the nail on the head.

Honoka did whatever came to her mind and always charged forward, regardless of what was ahead. Umi would initially back out, but with Kotori, who indulged Honoka, Umi, even if unwilling, would still take action.

Indeed, how similar it was!

"You know, these personalities combined are the essence of a classic storyline." Homura chimed in. "Otherwise, you wouldn't have everyone here now, right?"

"Um, Honoka, Kotori, and Umi are the starting point of Muse." Eli nodded. "Even in the manga, it was these three who hooked the initial readers."

"So that's why Ayano-san said that Tsumugi-chan and the others are very suitable to be the main characters of a manga, just like Muse?" Megumi muttered.

"Exactly. With such classic personality traits and interesting daily lives, if they really became a manga, the impact would be unimaginable." Homura nodded. "Of course, the main selling points would be warmth and humor, while any tear-jerking stuff would come later."

"Tear-jerking?!" Nanami exclaimed in surprise. "Why would that word come up?"

"No matter how interesting the combination, there will inevitably be tear-jerking moments when it comes to students." Nico said seriously.

In the next moment, Eli pulled Nico aside, shaking her head, signaling that wasn't the point being discussed.

'Tear-jerking moments...' Nanami understood.

Clearly, for students, it was about graduation and parting.

It was okay for Yui and the other three who were in the same grade, but what about Muse?

"Though it's inevitable, there's still plenty of time, so don't let it affect your mood just yet, okay?" Homura sighed lightly.

"That's right! We have a long way to go! For now, we need to focus on preparing for the school festival and Love Live!" Honoka slapped her own cheeks.

"Yep! After all, you’re all part of Another Dimension. Don’t think that graduation means you can just run away! Hahaha!" Homura laughed heartily.

Girls: "…"

Indeed, between them now, there was not only the bond of school but also Another Dimension and the bridge named Homura.

Thinking about this, the mood of Muse's members suddenly brightened.

"Heehee, nyaa, nyaa, nyaa, nyaa~!"

Rin suddenly jumped straight onto Homura's back, wrapping her arms around his neck like a koala.

"Mmm~"

"Rin!"

Nico gasped in shock, constantly scanning the surroundings.

"Phew… You scared me! Luckily, no one's around."

Once she saw there was no one, Nico finally relaxed.

"Ahahaha…"

With a nervous laugh, Rin released Homura's neck and then scratched her head, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Seeing this, Homura shook his head with a smile and then rubbed Rin's head.

"I was surprised too..." Kotori patted her chest in relief. "I didn't expect Rin-chan to suddenly..."

Stopping her words midway, she flushed slightly.

Hanayo also looked at Rin in amazement.

"Rin-chan has become so bold!"

Hearing these comments and feeling Nozomi's teasing gaze, along with the large hand on her head, Rin couldn't help but shyly hide behind Hanayo.

Seeing her reaction, the girls couldn't help but laugh.

After all, they understood Rin's behavior.

It was clearly a mix of excitement and joy.

In truth, they were also on the verge of doing something to Homura, but Rin acted so quickly that it disrupted their attempts.

As they continued walking, more and more passersby recognized Homura and the others.

"Ahh! It's Minamiya-sensei and Muse!"

Two girls on the street, probably students, ran over excitedly.

Seeing this, Nozomi and Eli went forward to chat with them.

Fortunately, although the two students seemed excited, they only wanted to say a few words. After all, someone had posted online last week that Homura had important matters to do on Sunday.

If this was delayed, the first to blow up would be the Fate fans!

Homura also exchanged a few words with them, but before the two left, they asked him one more question.

"Minamiya-sensei, last time you performed playing the guitar, what will you perform next?"

Upon hearing this question, Homura's mouth twitched.

"Are you planning to have me perform something different every time?!"

"Heehee… Goodbye, Minamiya-sensei and everyone!"

It seemed they didn't plan to hear his answer, as after laughing heartily, they left.

Seeing them leaving just like that, Homura's expression was quite something.

They didn't even want his answer?

Was this some kind of forced consent?

"Looks like you really have to show off some skills now." Maki started stifling her laughter.

"What's the big deal?" Homura shrugged. "Next time, I'll just sing for them, and the time after that, I'll play an instrument…"

Clearly, his skills were plentiful!

Seeing him suddenly become so nonchalant, the girls were left speechless.

"If it really comes to it, I can even cook something on the spot!" Homura continued.

Girls: "…"

"Can cooking be considered a performance?" Honoka couldn't help but ask.

"Others might not be able to do it, but I'm good." Homura shrugged again. "Worst case, I'll just choreograph a cooking dance, get some other chefs to perform it in a video, and post it online."

Everyone couldn't help but feel that his idea was just brilliant.

"Hey, that might actually be pretty good!" Homura mused while stroking his chin. "In that case, baking bread could be a performance too! If I use Tai Chi for kneading dough… would it taste better?"

"Whether it tastes good or not, it will definitely be more expensive." Eli's mouth twitched, unable to resist commenting.

"I'm not selling the bread I make, so where's the question of expensive?" Homura shook his head.

"What a quirky idea… I feel like I see a bit of Nozaki-kun in this…" Nico muttered.

"Homura-kun is probably even quirkier than Nozaki-kun, right?" Nozomi said with a slight smile. "I mean, how else would he come up with a character like Nozaki-kun?"

Upon hearing this, one of Homura's eyebrows twitched.

Clearly, he had no way to explain.
