[TSSIM] Chapter 514: Surprise

"Alright, I'm gonna make the page!"

Homura, more excited the more he thought about it, immediately got to work.

Seeing his excitement, the girls exchanged glances, and among them, Elf's lips twitched.

"Well... this sure is a troublemaker move..." Elf muttered quietly, but in the next second, she suddenly grinned in an oddly mischievous way. "But I kinda like it, heehee..."

"Not bad... in this way, more people can feel what we went through back then. It can't just be us who felt that heartache, right?" Eriri shrugged, not really against Homura's idea.

It was because there were more people like Homura that so many newcomers got tricked without even knowing what was going on. In the end, the newcomers just turned around and tricked even newer newcomers, and the cycle continued.

Now that everyone thought about it, it did seem kinda funny.

They started reading with the mindset of enjoying a wholesome romance story, only to end up with a tear-jerking story that nearly made them cry to death. Even though tricking the fans made them feel a bit bad, it was fine since everyone had been tricked like this at some point.

"All done!" Homura declared as he finished creating the webpage.

""Already?!""

All the girls exclaimed in shock.

"It's not that big of a deal. Just a simple voting lottery function." Homura raised an eyebrow.

"We don't know anything about that stuff..." Eriri rolled her eyes.

"Alright, alright, it's really not much. It's just about recording the usernames of those who answer and then having a filter function." Homura quickly explained.

Hearing this, Eriri started to understand.

"But... the interface is kinda ugly though... I'm too lazy to pretty it up, it's only gonna be used once anyway." Homura shook his head slightly.

Upon hearing this, the girls moved closer to take a look, and indeed, it was just the rules, a bunch of buttons, a delete button, and a confirm button, with the username display area at the top.

"Yeah, it's pretty ugly..." Eriri's lips twitched.

Meanwhile, Mashiro, Sagiri, and Izumi frowned, looking dissatisfied.

It couldn't be helped.

For artists like them, such an interface was just plain horrible!

"Ugly..." Mashiro said, disgust clear on her face.

"Nii-san... could you at least make it prettier?" Sagiri asked while frowning.

"I agree, it could use some beautification." Izumi nodded in agreement.

"Right? If Another Dimension's fans saw this ugly page, it'd totally ruin our image!" Eriri joined in now that everyone else had given their opinions.

"Bruh, even the image of Another Dimension is getting involved here?" Homura rolled his eyes. "Alright, fine, I'll leave it to you all then! Draw some cute button designs, and I'll stick them on. As for the background... let's make it a white town."

Immediately, the artists got to work while Homura loaded up a picture of a small town from Kanon that Mashiro had drawn as the background.

In less than five minutes, Homura stuck some cute buttons on the tags related to the shoujo genre and added cooler buttons to the tags related to the shounen genre.

After a quick tweak of the layout, the giveaway event webpage looked pretty neat and complete.

"Hmm... this is okay, I guess..." Eriri nodded weakly.

"Seriously, we're only using it once, so don't expect it to be perfect..." Homura grumbled.

"Let's get started once it's done, Homura!" Elf exclaimed, moving closer to Homura. "I'm getting kinda impatient!"

"Hold up. Let me talk to everyone first." Homura pulled out his phone and began typing.

[Minamiya: Yo!]

[Comment 1: YO! Minamiya-sensei just popped up!]

[Comment 2: AHHH! MINAMIYA-SENSEI! I WANNA HAVE YOUR BABIES!]

[Comment 3: Bruh, wtf? Who even is that? Not gonna lie, that's mad creepy if that's a dude.]

[Comment 4: Uh… maybe that's a girl?]

[Comment 5: Yeah, what's the problem? Minamiya-sensei has just as many girl fans as dude fans, right? But damn, the girls were chill before. What changed?]

[Comment 6: Oh, I know why. Bet it's because of that song Minamiya-sensei sang last Friday. Gotta admit, even I, a dude, almost turned.]

[Minamiya: !!! (Instantly runs off 800 miles!)]

[Comment 7: RIP. Y'all just scared Minamiya-sensei off.]

Meanwhile, as Homura broke into a sweat upon reading the dangerous comments, the girls laughed their asses off.

[Comment 8: Lol, what song are you talking about? I'm totally lost here.]

[Comment 9: It's normal if you don't know. I mean, isn't it because Muse's concert vid still isn't up yet? Otherwise, you'd have heard it by now.]

Reading this, Homura turned around and asked the girls.

"When do you think the video will be uploaded?"

"Probably... after Muse finishes their training?" Utaha replied after thinking for a moment.

"What if Eli forgets after that?" Eriri asked.

"Well, that won't be happening now." Homura chuckled. "I mean, the comment section on Muse's page is probably blowing up by now, right? It'll get uploaded eventually."

He then fiddled with his phone, not picking up the conversation again but starting a new topic.

[Minamiya: BTW, I've been saving up a surprise for you guys.]

[Comment 1: Oh, a surprise! I freaking love surprises! No matter how many you got, I'm all in!]

[Comment 2: What's it gonna be? A game? A manga? Or maybe an anime adaptation of one of your old works?]

[Minamiya: Anyway, this is all I got to show.]

[Comment 3: C'mon! Minamiya-sensei, your singing is hella good too, right? I bet it's a manga!]

[Comment 4: Now I'm hyped.]

[Comment 5: Nah, I think Minamiya-sensei's got some nice dance moves too, so I'm betting on a game.]

[Minamiya: (Rolling eyes emoji)]

[Minamiya: Alright, no more messing around.]

Homura smiled and then sent over an image of the main menu screen from Kanon, along with a picture of the five heroines.

[Minamiya: Okay, here it is, the game you wanted!]

[Comment 6: What's this?]

[Comment 7: OHHH! Five beauties! Lemme guess, this gotta be one of those romance visual novels, right?]

[Comment 8: Looks like it.]

[Minamiya: I'm not gonna spoil it for you guys, but one thing I can tell you is this game definitely won't disappoint.]

[Kasumi Utako: Yup, I promise you all~]

[Comment 9: Lol, do we even gotta say it? If it's from Another Dimension, no way it's gonna disappoint.]

[Comment 10: Been hyped for it already! When's the game dropping?]

[Minamiya: Probably in about ten days. It was supposed to be around twenty, but as you all know, some of our voice actors gotta prepare for the Love Live tournament. But they didn't wanna delay the game just for them, so they're going all in. Luckily, it's holiday time now.]
