[TSSIM] Chapter 515: Five Days Later
Added 2025-03-16 20:56:11 +0000 UTC[Minamiya: Btw, let me drop a character design for y'all. Also, new updates will be posted daily on the official page of Another Dimension.]
Homura immediately uploaded Tsukimiya Ayu's character design along with a brief introduction, and after sparking a wave of heated discussion, his spur-of-the-moment plan was about to begin.
[Minamiya: Hey, y'all don't think one surprise is enough, right? How about another?]
[Comment 1: Wait, there's more? Let's gooo! Hit me with all the surprises!]
[Minamiya: Careful now. What if you get buried under them?]
[Comment 2: No biggie! If I fall, a thousand more of me will rise!]
[Minamiya: You're way too hyped for this, you know.]
[Minamiya: Anyway, the other surprise? It's a manga, and it's gonna be a bi-monthly release, alternating with Love Live.]
[Comment 3: Oh?? So first a game, and now a manga?! We eating good!]
[Comment 4: Another bi-monthly release? Eh, at least it evens out with Love Live. I can live with that.]
[Comment 5: But why so secretive about the manga details? Bro, this is torture!]
[Comment 6: Minamiya-sensei, every time you tease us like this, we suffer!]
[Comment 7: Gimme the info! I need info ASAP!]
[Minamiya: Honestly, I was gonna mess around a bit and make you guys play a little game, so I wasn't planning to spill anything yet. I even prepped some giveaway prizes, y'know? You really sure you don't want them? If you're dead set on that, I'll just drop the manga details now.]
[Comment 8: Bruh.]
[Comment 9: Oh hell nah.]
[Comment 10: Wait, can I at least ask what the prize is first?]
[Minamiya: Fifty collector's edition copies of Kanon for fifty lucky winners! Each set comes with an exclusive limited-edition poster that'll never be sold. Ever.]
[Comment 11: Uh, you know what? Suddenly, I don't wanna hear the manga details anymore.]
[Comment 12: Lmao, the mystery just makes it even better!]
As soon as these people heard about the prize, their attitude flipped instantly.
[Minamiya: Alright then, the game starts now! Here are the rules. Go for it.]
As soon as Homura posted the rule and the link to the giveaway event webpage, his blog was deserted—probably because everyone had rushed off to the page.
"Hahh, the more excited they are now, the harder they're gonna cry later..." Eriri sighed dramatically, but strangely, there was a faint grin on her face.
"Friday's the deadline. We'll see how it goes when the time comes." Homura shrugged.
"Homura, what's the plan for the posters?" Elf asked.
"Hmm..." Homura thought for a moment before answering. "Might as well have Mashiro draw them. She's already in charge of Makoto's design anyway. As for the details, I want it to be Makoto in human form holding her little fox form, both of them smiling brightly."
Girls: "..."
Now, they were convinced that Homura was indeed a demon!
Crying for Makoto's tragic fate while watching her smiling in the poster—that contrast was way too brutal.
"Homura-kun's really going further and further down the path of a demon king..." Utaha remarked, her lips twitching.
"Quit messing around. I'm obviously a warrior of love." Homura shrugged.
"When will I ever be as shamelessly amazing as you, Homura-kun?" Utaha rolled her eyes.
"Stick around me long enough, and you'll get there." Homura chuckled.
"First off, you need to toughen up your skin—that's the most important thing." Eriri suggested.
"That sounds... kinda hard..." Utaha frowned in frustration.
Homura: "..."
"Enough messing around, let's get to work." Homura clapped his hands.
"Yeah, yeah, work time~" Elf responded, feeling pretty fired up.
As long as the script was finished, she could take more than half a month off, just playing and goofing around nonstop.
Just thinking about it gave her all the motivation she needed!
Of course, the others got busy as well, which signaled that the game's development had finally kicked into high gear.
===
Five days had passed in the blink of an eye, and now it was Friday.
Back on Monday, since the script for Kanon was finally completed, Muse's voice acting work had finally begun that day. Unlike before, however, Homura didn't even bother auditioning for a male voice actor this time. Other than the protagonist, the other male characters in Kanon barely had any lines, so he just casually handled them himself.
In the end, aside from burning the game discs and the release, everyone in Another Dimension took care of everything else.
Naturally, during this time, everyone had also finished shopping for swimsuits as planned.
By the way, when Sagiri and the others went shopping, Megumin ended up tagging along. She originally thought she could act all bold and show off her 'vast experience', but in the end, she was still too shy, as no matter how much she tried to act tough, that bright red face of hers totally gave her away whenever Homura teased her.
Based on the girls' voice acting progress, Homura discussed with his father, Kousuke, and set the game release date for Sunday—the same day as the Love Live tournament!
Luckily, since the tournament was in the afternoon and Manke Bookstore opened in the morning, there was no real conflict. Consequently, even with Muse and Homura's involvement causing some ripples, it wasn't going to disrupt anything.
===
Afternoon, at the Minamiya Residence.
At this moment, everyone was gathered in the living room.
Umi's schedule might've looked terrifying, but now that the voice acting work was done, there was no need to keep following it strictly. Of course, dance and vocal practice still had to continue as usual.
Nonetheless, something interesting was happening in the living room right now.
Currently, Honoka stared blankly at the glass of vegetable juice in front of her before looking at Homura in a daze.
"Didn't we finish all the voice recordings yesterday? Why is this still a thing?"
"You guys still gotta practice your songs for two more days, don't you?" Homura shrugged casually.
"But singing isn't nearly as hard on the throat as voice acting!" Honoka's survival instincts kicked in as she scrambled for an excuse.
"It still puts some strain on you, no? Besides, I already cut the amount in half for you."
"In half?" Honoka glanced at the massive glass in front of her, then back at Homura. "Where's the 'half' you're talking about?!"
"Twice a day is now once a day. Isn't that half?" Homura asked with a grin. "Or would you rather drink two half-sized servings? A full glass makes you dizzy, and half a glass still makes you dizzy, so wouldn't it be better to just go through it once instead of twice?"
Honoka: "..."
What Homura said actually made a lot of sense—so much that she couldn't even argue with it.
It seemed like she had no choice but to drink it.
