I had this video on my mind for a very long time, that image with the Keytar is a direct inspiration from the classic photography of Jimmy Hendrix kneeling while his guitar was burning.
It was the product of one of the most valuable pieces of advices I've ever got. It was during Amsterdam's 2014 ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event). I attended with Jose and we had the awesome opportunity of meeting Jean Michel Jarre (amazing guy). I was toying with the idea of stop producing others and start my own thing, and I asked him what did he think was the best advice he could give for a new electronic & dance project, and his answer was: "make it sexy".
That simple thing resonated with me. I had been experimenting with bear photography and bear styling for some years then, and everything clicked. I needed to find images that would inspire and entice the bear community.
Fast forward some years later and this pictures reflect two of the ideas for the video. There was an earlier photo shoot that also served as inspiration for the video (some of those can be seen on the "Somebody" lyric video, I will share them with you soon), but this two images (plus another one that will be available later), were the basis for it. Oh, and the one lying on the bed is Farit :)
I'll tell you more later, hugs!
