Added 2025-08-07 15:28:56 +0000 UTCAn internal note from DMI senior researcher Dr. O'Malley: To Dr. Shetty and executive research staff, I am writing this to implore that steps be taken to curtail these superfluous and increasingly ridiculous renders that some of my colleagues have been producing regarding Metahuman 4010, Codenamed 8-Ball. While previous renders have had some merit when it comes to subject analysis (them being based in reality), this latest one (so-called "Kami" phase) has no basis of fact, has no evidence to support its depictions, and serves no purpose as a research tool. I object to the wasting of department time and resources on these efforts. I certainly hesitate to call them science. I call it thinly disguised fan fiction, of a real entity with a real criminal record. Please tell my colleagues to get back to real work.
