Hey guys, as I've told you a few times, some of my music videos take a long time to prepare. Sometimes it's because of the wardrobe, sometimes because of the SFX.
I have always loved special effects, so I started experimenting with them on my own videos as soon as I could. And even though I don't storyboard everything (as is usual with many of these kinds of works), I sometimes do screen tests to check the lighting and, in this case, the background design.
You'll notice that the backgrounds in this screen test are half built, there are no screens yet, and some of them weren't even used in the end. For example, the bridge's "disco" setting. As I think I mentioned, the first idea for the video was more dreamlike, more trippy, hence the nude scenes I shot, which ended up in the screens and which I will one day edit into a special video just for you. When I had all the backgrounds and the flying car scenes built, I realised that these abstract scenes weren't going to work, so a lot of the footage was scrapped.
I suspect something similar will happen with 'Traitor', the music video I start shooting today. I'll keep you posted. Happy Wednesday ❤️😘❤️
