Monday Blues
Added 2025-03-17 19:14:02 +0000 UTCI haven't gone to sit down at the coffee shop to write in a while, and that's my plan for tonight. I find I'm at my most creative there, but there's something subversive and a bit dirty about writing my NSFW stories while there. Especially if they're stories that excite me. LOL.
Definitely had a rough morning today, so it's going to be nice to go to the cafe, treat myself to a little sweet treat and let myself get into some writing.
Do any of you have any creative projects? If so, what are they, and what are some of your rituals or traditions around your creative pursuits?

That's a great idea. I often just chuck on some super ambient-ish music and let myself get into a hyperfocus flow state. It doesn't always work, but it works often enough. Haha.

2025-03-21 04:19:23 +0000 UTCI haven’t done this method in awhile because of my ADHD, i can’t focus on a project for more than two days, but I use to play an album in the background and then, that’s how much time i would have to at least write something for the day for example: i love the album ‘THINK LATER’ by Tate Mcrae, I would play that in the background, until the last song would finish playing, (if that’s too confusing, my apologies)

I wish it wasn't, but it is, so I'll just have to learn to deal with it. Haha. Hope you have some awesome drawings going out. And I totally get you on being hard on yourself and questioning the quality of your own work. I struggle with this with EVERY. SINGLE. AUDIO. I. RELEASE. But y'all seem to like it so... I keep getting over myself... Hahaha.

2025-03-18 02:15:27 +0000 UTCHonestly I don't think my creative process ritual will help but I usually draw and first I think a thing, then find the things to draw with, then I procrastinate after procrastinating I draw when it's just right to share then insecurity kicks in and I question if it's even good enough and it never sees the light of day
