It’s so tragic what happened to Nan and her friend. 😢 I’m not sure if I’m right or wrong but I believe an ectopic pregnancy is any pregnancy that occurs out slide the uterus. It’s very dangerous and painful. Again I’m not a medical professional but I believe that the pregnancies have to be terminated for the health of both the baby and the person who is pregnant. In some rare cases it is possible with lots of medical intervention and treatment for the pregnancy to be successful, but I think generally the babies are born/delivered early/premature. Hope this helps! If anyone knows more or if I’m wrong feel free to correct me! Like I said I don’t know for sure if I have this information correct. I’ve only ever heard the word ectopic. I’ve never seen it spelled before so maybe I’m thinking of a different word.
