Throwback...Monday???

Just re-sharing this in honor of everyone and their moms (us included) who saw the new Guardians of the Galaxy over the weekend! I know, I know, the rest of the world saw it before it came to the US...I cry. Anyway Jesse, Sam, Dodger, and I took a little office field trip to see the movie after a whole two weeks of Jesse singing Mr Blue Sky every single minute of every single day at work..........and this is only slightly an exaggeration lol

For those who don't know, Jesse and I have known each other for a whiiiiile, much longer than we've been working together! In fact we saw a sneak peek screening of the first Guardians movie (see video) and this was us goofing around with all the action figures Disney brought with them. (I also fondly remember some of the cast members who attended but let's be real, I could only stare at Michael Rooker's INSANELY HUGE ARMS and how they could probably crush me.) In case you can't tell by the squeal at the end -- I AM (literally) GROOT.

Anyway what did y'all think of the new movie?? Keep the comments spoiler free ofc but I'm genuinely curious (: I don't know much about the MCU to be honest (the SGS guys are currently watching them all with me in order) so I wanna know how all you Marvel fans out there are taking to this one!

Aw, that's cool! I for one didn't know you and Jesse went way back. I just kind of assumed you were still getting used to his antics but they must be old news to you by now.

Mukalytic

I absolutely _loved_ the movie. Not going to lie though, there was a part where a tiny bit of tears streamed down my face. Not quite a manly thing, I know, but hey, we also have emotions or something :P

Peter Paizs

Needed more Cosmo! (I really loved it!)

Casey Brewer

Adorable as heck and didn't feel like seeing it. The general attitude is it doesn't measure up so I didn't want to see something that might diminish the first one. But I love that scream at the end of your video xD

The Ferret

It was a lot of fun but it lacks the cohesiveness of the first one is a big way
