AMA Answers!

Sorry for the delay, all! This is a pretty long one, so get hype:

Q: What do you do for Jesse and how/when did you get hired?
A: Jesse and I knew each other beforehand! We were catching up one day and I mentioned how I was looking for a new job - then he mentioned he was looking for a new assistant. I gave my two weeks at my previous job, and started with Jesse in December 2015! Ez peasy. As for what I do, it's literally anything Jesse doesn't have time for, needs help with, or isn't able to work on due to travel, meetings, etc. I'd say it's 40% personal stuff (errands, getting coffee, driving him around, picking Crendor up at the airport...) and 60% business stuff (uploading videos/thumbnails, helping with the YT Red show, coming along to set/meetings, anything shipping related, etc etc etc). It's hard to answer that question simply because the things I help with changes every day depending on what's going on. So yeah, a little of everything!

Q: What's the weirdest out-of-context thing you have heard Jesse say while he was recording or streaming?
A: I don't have a specific quote in mind, but every time he records a Fan Friday with sexy anime girls, he doesn't give me a heads up about what he's recording/looking at. Let's just say I have randomly heard some LEWD sound bites hahahahhaha

Q: Has the change in Youtube monetization changed what games you're looking at?
A: A bit, yes! It's why he's started doing one-shots/Cox Tease, posting longer videos, streaming the open world RPGs he plays instead of making official series on them (though the VODs end up being uploaded anyway of course). All the games he plays for the channel are games he would've played anyway though so I wouldn't say he's hugely influenced by it (:

Q: Do you ever feel like you should create a counter of how many times Jesse invades other office folks' streams with salt, rage, or just the need to be fabulous?
A: It would be impossible to keep track of that LOL

Q: What's it like working in the same office as Alex "Coolman" Faciane?
A: Literally the best. The way Alex talks/makes zingers on videos is the way he talks IRL so you can imagine the lolz :P Tbh I probably hang out with him the most, after Jesse of course.

Q: Do people in the office ever play any tabletop games? If so, which ones are favorites around the office?
A: We don't really play them AT the office unless there's a stream going on or something, but we do all love tabletop, yes (: Most recently a Secret Hitler box has been working its way around the building...

Q: Who's usually the latest to arrive to the office and the first to leave?
A: It changes every day, but usually I arrive last because I live pretty far from the office and have to sit in traffic :P The first to leave is maybe...man, I don't know, for the most part everyone stays at the office until pretty late. The only thing for sure is that Jirard is ALWAYS HERE. ALL THE TIME. FOREVER.

Q: What are some of your favorite things that people have in their offices? (Like a specific plush or figure or picture, maybe).
A: Octopimp has a bunch of bean bags, one of which I have commandeered because I love it so much - I am typing this now while sitting on that very bean bag LOL. Other than that, Jirard has some really awesome collector's figures (I make googly eyes at his Nathan Drake one on the reg) and Alex & Kellie have these weird Eevee plushies that are like...messed up? As in they were manufactured wrong and look so silly hahaha ilovethem

Q: What's a typical work day like?
A: No such thing :P Especially with all the work going into the YT Red show, and then now with convention/wedding season - scheduling changes day by day. Also Coxcon is fast approaching so there's always stuff going on with that! I'll say that the most common day is probably Jesse recording a video, sending it to Tucker for edits, and a bunch of YT Red work & 1 billion emails in between. Usually there's a meeting or conference call or something thrown in at some point. And then of course we goof off a little :P

Q: How comfortable is the Super Couch Fighters's sofa? Is it one of those that you could be loft forever in?
A: IT IS THE GREATEST COUCH YOU WILL EVER KNOW and we have all napped on it quite a bit because it is so gr8

Q: Is there anything that happened in the office and  you wished you could have recorded it?
A: This happens every day LOL every time Jesse starts talking to himself for sure. Also last week we surprised Octopimp with a birthday cake and like a fool I forgot to film it T_____T

Q: Who in the office works there full time?  And who has the largest room?
A: Pretty much everyone is a full timer! Jirard will bring on interns every semester who will only be here a couple times a week, but other than that the rest of us are here all the time. As for largest room, definitely Jirard! But this is technically his office that he started up, not to mention he has the biggest team, so it makes sense :P

Q: What do you have on your desk? And one for Jesse: when will he play  What Remains of Edith Finch?
A: The printer, a giant Vivi plush, a Cute But Deadly Bastion figure, a box of tea, my Salacious Crumb mug that matches Jesse's Jabba one, and a Playstation water bottle ^___^ And boring office supplies, including a tape dispenser that LOOKS LIKE A CAT. Anyway. Jesse has played Edith Finch on his own already I think...but I'm not 100% positive lol

Q: What's the most shocking, yet trivial thing you've learned about Jesse since working for him?
A: He only uses towels ONCE!!!!!!!! Like after a shower he will use a towel and will be unable to use it again until it's been washed?!?! Therefore he has 7 bath towels, 1 for every day of the week. THAT IS SO WEIRD

Q: How often is the Yoda candy refilled or emptied?
A: Oh man it's rarely ever refilled because once there's candy in there, we all down that stuff INSTANTLY. It's dangerous.........

Q: What the most embarrassing thing Jesse has done or made someone in the office do?
A: He recorded me cry-laughing about Yuri on Ice booty and posted it on the internet T____T As for HIS moment of top embarrassment...I would say it's when he forgot how to spell "sorry" :P #neverforget

Q: How did you and Jesse meet each other?
A: On twitter actually >____> We started following each other, and pretty soon after that I ended up getting a job in LA and moving here. I didn't know anyone yet so we met up IRL and the rest is history!

Q:  How much of a lore history nerd is Jesse when he's NOT playing a game (ie. social interactions)?
A: If someone mentions WoW he will definitely just start going off about lore without any prompting :P Meanwhile Star Wars lore talks happen constantly since soooo many people here love it. They literally go on about it for...maybe hours. And that's not even the recorded stuff!

Q: Is there a livestream like Secret of Mana planned this year?
A: Final Fantasy 7 office stream is coming soon!!!!! We're aiming for August or September so stay tuned 8)
