Goodbye 2020

It's true, 2020 was The Worst and I'm sure we're ALL glad it's over. But despite all the...Everything, we did get some good content this year somehow, so let's look back and list some of our faves~
If you have any top movies, shows, games, memories, accomplishments etc of the year, let us know below! We could all use a little positivity as we move forth into the new year.
Thank you everyone for all your support this past year despite all the chaos and hardship. Wishing you all the best this New Years and beyond, and here's to 2021 hopefully being a better one x
Hey Jesse and Kristen, thank you for all that you do!
I bought Monster Prom and Monster Camp for my girlfriend and she's been loving it! She even got her friends into the series. They're all looking forward to whatever you work on next.
Following your journey through FFXIV has definitely been one of the highlights of my year. I wasn't able to be there for the finale to 5.0, but it was still satisfying watching the VOD and seeing your reaction to that ending. I'm really excited to see you tackle the next few patches and especially 5.3.
Aside from that, I've always enjoyed your content on YouTube. I'm not sure what your plans are for the channel in 2021, but I wish you all the best in whatever you decide to do!

My 2020 was a real shitshow, on top of a global pandemic I got diagnosed with a very bad disease and lost my job, so I'm just really happy I'm still alive. I spent 1,5 months in a hospidal watching your and Dodger's videos (broadband in a hospidal room, can you believe it?!).
Having to take care of myself and take time off turned out to be a good thing though, I played through Dragon Age from Origins through to Inquisition, while almost hearing Jessie's comments on the back of my mind.
For 2021 I'm trying to leave my comfort zone, look for work in a new town and a new field, something that'll really make a difference in the world (a real life equivalent of killing darkspawn and/or sealing fade rifts). Sometimes we need a push to find the courage to do what we really need to do, and 2020 was that push to me.
And your videos helped me through the darkest times (you are my Varric!), so a big thank you to Jesse and the Team <3.

Started this year with a drunk lady slamming in to my window while screaming for Martha.
So it seems my name is now Martha... At least according to her.

This year was a lot, but in 3 of its months I finished my Masters on Art Education, got my first job(part-time but OH BOY do I love it) as an art teacher WHILE I was let go at job in retail that was making me miserable. I was so afraid but even with less money I feel so much more like myself now <3.

The Mandalorian is fantastic, I'm not even into Star Wars that much but I'm glad I finally started watching it! Also WoW is great right now, and Animal Crossing helped me keep my sanity this year

Man, my favorite memory of you had to be the FF7Remake videos. I was going through the game right along side you, and theory crafting all the way. Can't wait for you guys to blow my mind with your thoughts about that game! Otherwise, the game that completely stole me this year was Rimworld. Game has infinite playability. Age of Calamity was also pretty great, fantastic music. Cannot wait to see what you get up to in 2021 though Jesse!

How did I forget the good place ended this year?! That was amazing. Also still playing through ghost of tsushima and I'm just constantly impressed by it. And Sakuna of rice and ruin! So many good games, so little time despite the fact that this year felt like 20 years.

It's true. 2020 wasn't all bad. Plus we got some neat new games this year. Crusader Kings 3, Baldur's Gate 3 were some I was looking forward to, I'd say Cyberpunk but uh... well it didn't turn out so great with all the bugs and all (plus I don't have it quite yet, waiting for a new PC to arrive to get into that one) There were more games as well, but those are what come to the top of my mind for me anyway :)
Oh and I finally saw the entire Babylon 5 series finally, God I should've watched that 20 years ago. I would've loved it hah. Better late than never!
