Maybe a specific kind that has over different species within it's purview that he could summon and communicate with at will. Hmm... I got it. Jesse would be the world's first and only SHARK DRUID. After all we found out from his PO box that sharks LOVE Jesse.

He ends up saving his friends love interest by robbing a blind and deaf beggars and using their rags to disguise himself and his friends love interest to avoid capture.

Random screaming, laughing and singing makes me think he would love to be a rogue, but would fail as he would suddenly burst out behind his foe then start singing and laughing. Then screaming and running as his foe is much bigger and stronger than he thought.
