Here Are Baby Pictures of Jesse - Alejandro's Blog

Hi Gang it's Alejandro the Assistant Editor back at it again. No quirky title this week. just hard hitting journalism. I was going through old Jesse videos trying to find something that I can use to cancel him, and I found this old Q&A with Jess' parents that has videos of little Jesse Cox. When I showed Jesse these videos he mentioned his parents have a big box or something FULL of old videos of him. So SUSAN COX IF YOU'RE READING THIS everyone in the office (and Patreon) would love to see those :)

Anyways!

In my world nothing much is happening. Mari is out of the office this week so I'm editing everything. We filmed a special Thanksgiving video that I am finishing up edits on right now and it will be released this week for all of you to GOBBLE up HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Pictured below is an exchange I had with Kristina (Who does all of our Tiktok and Youtube Shorts, she's phenomenal) while I was posting pictures of the upcoming video in our Slack.

I finished God of War last week and OH MY GOD it made me cry at the end. Genuinely it is a Masterclass in Narrative Gaming and I think it deserves GOTY. Elden Ring is a spectacular game however God of War's presentation in narrative is lightyears ahead of Elden Ring and all of the Souls games. Fight me in the comments below if you think otherwise. I'm actually going to The Game Awards this year so I'll be drinking in the tears of all the non-believers live and in HD.

In my literary news I finished the book Hyperion by Dan Simmons a few weeks ago and just started the Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson. Reading has been a nice escape for me this past year.

I don't have much else to write about so I'm gonna leave you all and get back to work. I hope you guys are doing good and let me know if you need anything!

Having beat God of War: Ragnarök, I bet you're hyped for Jesse's playthrough to see his reactions, too! Enjoy the Mistborn series and those Brando Sando twists. ;)

As a big story person, how Souls games do narrative is a big part of my beef with them. I feel like they are basically designed for the people that like to skip cutscenes.
