NEW YEAR POO YEAR - Alejandro's Blog

Alejandro the Assistant Editor here with my blog that you're all required to read or else you get bad tummy aches. Here's a picture of me fist bumping Lil' JC

The New Year is off to a slow start here in the office as the projects slowly start ramping up so I've been mostly spending this time brushing up on my skills in a little program called Adobe After Effects because I'm absolutely dog water at it and every time I look at it my brain goes to fuzz. But if I want any shot at taking Mari's job whenever he dies of lead poisoning from all the paint I mix into his lunches, then I need to better myself every day.

When I walk into the office everyday I'm greeted by my coworkers Mari, Alex, Grogu, Grogu, and Grogu. Jesse is not pictured because hes doesn't like to acknowledge lower class citizens. I think he has a problem recognizing the fact that his ivory tower only stands upon the backs of the workers, and that soon as the minds of my brothers and sisters open up we will tear down the walls of his castle that represents his gluttonous fortune.

Anyways! Last week before Jesse went to Magfest we went over our plans for the year and what Jesse wants to do for the channel and I'm feeling happy about where we are and hope it lives up to your guys' expectations! I do apologize for the lack of content on Patreon but we're ramping back up the Fan Fridays now that Jesse and our schedules are beginning to look normal once again. You guys are the reason I have a job so I'm very grateful.

California is getting drenches with rain right now which is awesome (despite the deaths and mass destruction it causes) because the entire state is blossoming and looks vibrant. I took this picture on a mountain I hiked in my neighborhood. Absolutely stunning.

Aaaaand in my book news. Attached below is a picture of every book I read in 2022!

After my last blog post I read all of the Mistborn Era 2 series (4 books in total) before the year ended and after reading all of your guys' suggestions for books I bought a BUNCH of new fantasy series for myself for Christmas. And as of literally this morning, I finished The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss which marks my first book down of 2023! It was such a fucking good book and I can't wait to start the next one. Truly a masterpiece of writing.

Time for me to sign off now. I just want to thank you all again for your patronage and I hope 2023 is a good year for all of you and for me. Be kind to yourself, you're doing fine.

-Alejandro
