Special Guest, and Jesse Turned Into a Dog - Office Blog - Kendra
Added 2023-01-17 20:46:11 +0000 UTCHappy Tuesday everyone!
This is my first blog for the New Year, but I promise I've been working hard. I know we've all said it in our blogs, but we have so much stuff planned.
Speaking of fun things, look who came by the office today! You might think he is here to record a certain show, but the truth is, Jesse made the choice recently to have himself turned into a dog. He's been debating it for a while, and came to the conclusion that a dog that streams would be great for the channel. So our guest came by to be apart of the transformation ritual.

This is what Jesse looks like now. He's a lot shorter now, and he doesn't have thumbs. We probably should've considered that before turning him into a dog...

Here is Jesse, making his rounds through the office. He likes to make sure we are all being productive. Unfortunately dogs can't read, so he can't tell that Alejandro has Wikipedia open and not Adobe Premier. Another thing we didn't take into consideration before the transformation.

Jesse came over to check on my work but I think he just wanted my lunch...
Having a dog as a boss is super weird. Hopefully we can transform him back into a human...but if not I hope he can still sign the checks!

In all seriousness, we have been planning new projects, and getting things ready to get those projects done. Which is what we all keep saying, but we are only saying it all the time because its true!
What about life outside the office for me?
Well for one thing, Alejandro isn't the only one of us who reads. He's just the one who reads the most. I recently finished reading Star Wars: The Dark Disciple, which I wanted to read because I love Ventress. This book was great up until the like last third of it. It has some issues, but overall it was an interesting read for sure. If audio books are your thing, the audio book for this one is solid.

I also got a new lens for my DSLR! It's more compact than my kit lens, and also just better in a lot of ways. I have been trying to take more photos so I can improve my photography. I don't want to become the next great photographer or anything. It's just for fun :) But if anyone has any recommendations for resources I am all ears.

Here is a photo I took with a dryer sheet with a hole in the middle pulled over the lens to get a smudgy kind of look on the side. It was also edited in Lightroom afterword's:

I hope you are all having a good start to the year. 2023 is going to be so great for so many reasons. Is there anything you guys are excited for in the new year?
