Jesse and Santell back together again! We took some prom inspired photos to commemorate this occasion. Just look at these guys!

Before the talent came in we were testing the green screen to make sure we had everything set correctly. The set up we are using isn't a typical green screen. It uses a ring light on the front of the camera to make the background screen green, so lighting your subject can be a little tricky to get right.

Above is the ring light I was mentioning before, and below is me in front of the screen (I was being used as the stand in Jesse during set up this morning)
Using this kind of set up is supposed to be more versatile. For example, we could use a blue light instead of a green light and get a blue screen behind the subject. It's actually pretty cool!

We also want to introduce you to our new Office Plant: Tomater (pronounced T-oh-may-ter). This little guy is an Early Bird tomato plant. He currently needs to acclimate to the new setting, so we are leaving him in his original pot before we repot it. Since he is a more mature plant he should adjust pretty well. We are also testing to see if the window will give him enough sun, or if we have to get some grow lights.

We also filmed the Fan Friday winner: Valentines Bake Off! No spoilers here, but let's just say it was an interesting day yesterday. That's my kitchen Aid, Ava, and she is very old! So old that the chord is questionable to use. This was definitely her last big baking adventure for now. Making so much frosting was a little tough for her. I have to send her to a guy called Mr. Mixer in a different state to get her fixed up, because Kitchen Aid won't service the older models. So she's got a very big adventure in her future.

Also I got my Scary Game Squad Jacket in the mail!!!! Not just saying this because Jesse is my boss, but it's so comfy and warm!

What have I been doing outside the office? Playing Happy Home Designer on the 3DS for the first time! Honestly I really love the 3DS. I saved up to get this one in 2013. My sister went with me and we stood in the GameStop for soooo long feeling the Zelda blind bags to try and get the Link and Zelda charms that matched the 3DS. (As you can see we were successful).
Opinion time: I love playing this on the 3DS more than the Happy Home Paradise on the Switch. Honestly I love the double screen. Moving around furniture and décor is a freaking breeze in this version. I will say that controlling the camera is a little rough when decorating, but that's truly my only complaint. 9/10 I could play this game all day.

Thanks for reading my blog! Keep an eye out for Gentleman's Gaming Club coming out soon, and for next weeks Fan Friday!
What games have you guys been playing?
