Added 2023-02-28 23:06:41 +0000 UTCTomorrow is the first day of March, so to get into the spirit of the upcoming St. Patrick's Day we commissioned an artist to create a Lil' JC and Lucky Charms cross over! We felt it was fitting considering Lil JC finally got a house in FFXIV! Look how cute he is!
This month we commissioned the lovely Dani Calzone.
Dani “calzone” Anzalone is “that one retro artist.” with a primary focus on print-like textures, Dani’s favorite question is “Is that digital or on paper?” she is also a graduate of the BFA illustration program at the school of visual arts
Based in the not quite the city but not really long island area, dani creates bright, campy illustrations similarly in a middle ground of vintage and modern. Her work features bright colors in contrast to rough textures and sharp edges to create a look that is her own.
