I have no witty title this time - Alejandro's Blog

Hello everyone it's Alejandro the Assistant Editor. I just finished moving apartments over the past week so my brain is destroyed and I can't come up with a cool audience engagement schtick so we'll just have to talk to each other like normal folk!

Mari and I are both whipping up some real tasty videos for you guys. The video I'm working on is a personal favorite purely based on vibes. Let's just say when you all watch it you'll be feeling rather green. And then on Mari's side of the aisle we recorded a special little program for a work-related milestone which is coming up pretty soon! Jesse comes back this week so pretty soon we'll be starting work on the next GGC.

These past few weeks I finally feel like I've gotten a lot more competent as an editor. I've got more capabilities now but really the area I need to find more improvement in is speed which is a lot more difficult for me to really practice without just committing months to muscle memory, if that makes sense.

They cancelled E3 as we all know and I'm rather bummed about that. I had watched E3 coverage since I was but a little boy but now that I'm finally able to go (and for free thanks to Jesse's coattails) they are taking it away from ME. I was really excited to go purely for the clout involved. But c'est la vie, I'll find another way to justify my existence :(

Like I said I just moved so my entire room is just boxes. I love my new place, its in a great neighborhood, my drive to work is a little shorter, and I pay quite a bit less in rent. All big wins. Other than that nothing much eventful has happened for me personally. This weekend I'm going back home to Texas for a wedding so I'm super stoked for that.

No Alejandro's Book Corner this time, March was a pretty stressful month for me so I just didn't spend any time reading and also I just didn't feel like reading (I read a lot over the past year) but I'm hoping I'll feel like starting that back up by the next time I talk to you guys.
