1 Million Subs and Anime Expo - Office blog from Kendra

As I am sure you all know by now, Jesse reached ONE MILLION Subs on youtube last week, so the office team decided to surprise him with a cake and a party Today! (since we were not in office on Friday)

Also, Mari and I went to Anime Expo to film some content for the Patreon! My Fiancé also went to AX, so he very kindly held all of our things while we were filming. Plus he went dressed as Sora's raft to go with my Sora cosplay!

As always is was absolutely packed before the halls opened. Very thankful we had access to some higher up hallways so we wouldn't have to be squished with everyone. I truly felt like I was going to throw up seeing how packed the crowd was, and my anxiety was at an all time high. Surprise Surprise, but the fire marshal did stop the convention from allowing more people in at one point. I don't even understand how AX can sell more tickets than the number of people safely allowed inside but I feel like this happens every year now.

I don't want to get too into what we filmed, since that will be a whole separate thing, so instead I will tell you about some personal highlights of mine! I made Mari and my Fiancé Richard stand in line for about an hour just to shop at one of my favorite artists booths. Both of them were absolute troopers, and I appreciate them waiting for me so I could buy the one thing I wanted from Anime Expo.
Her booth was super cute and had photo ops around the outside so you take photos while in line.

BEHOLD THE BUN! The #1 thing I wanted to get at AX, honestly so I could take photos like this:

I also met the creator of the Bananya Card game, and she was kind enough to show us how to play the game! It plays a little like exploding kittens, but the goal is to have all 10 Bananya's in your hand to win. I bought all of the expansion packs too, and she signed my copy of the game! It was super cute. It also can be played with just 2 players! Which is a huge win for me.

Since Satruday was so packed with Anime, I decided to relax and draw a little on my Sunday! I hope you all had a fun and relaxing weekend, and I hope you enjoyed my quick write up about Anime Expo! There will be some more Anime Expo content later down the line, Mari and I had a great time filming some content for the Patreon.

I live in San Diego (currently within walking distance to the convention center itself) so even if I don't go it's presence is felt, but typically I try to volunteer every year because it lets me get in free.
