So at about 26mins in Jesse asks about things effecting the lore. While not MTG there was another card game that did this. The Legend of the Five Rings collectable card game would have it's in game lore affected by the outcome of the Larger tournaments Mind you this is the L5R CCG, which was in production 1995-2015 and not the L5R LCG which was in print 2017-2012

2025-03-09 03:27:37 +0000 UTCOnce again, a very enjoyable episode This time i noticed how Jesse lead the conversation a bit more than with the other two episodes... and once i noticed, i liked seeing the structure and preperation that goes into making this I always watched MTG from a distance and my first card game i got into was Hearthstone. Then i left it and settled with Eternal (the lovechild of Hearthstone and MTG).
