Journal Update on things

Hey all! Hope everyone's year has been going well so far ^^

Wanted to put out a journal on some thoughts that've been running through my mind. Some personal things, as well as how I've been running stuff here in general.

Firstly, thank you so so much to all the new patrons who've joined recently! It's always a huge blessing to see people supporting the content & I'm so grateful for each & everyone of you ;w;

Secondly, I wanted to apologize, especially to everyone who was expecting more, well, "symbiote" stuff (as the descript implies heh). Since trying to make this art gig a fulltime job, most of my work here has mainly been commish work, which tends to range a large spectrum of themes & subjects. Don't get me wrong though, each one has been a privilege to draw, not mentioning the assortment of challenges & techniques I've learnt over each piece has grown my observation of the medium immensely! 

I guess on a personal level, I sometimes feel my work here has been somewhat lacking in the symby department. Atleast in terms of what a "symby" is (with the fangs & tongue & eyetears & all).

Speaking of coms, I've also been abit sporadic on open slots too. Mostly taking them on when I can, again, I'm so sorry for anyone who's been on the waiting list for a considerable amount of time >.<'

Artwise, I've had afew pangs from the "artist-anxiety bug" lately. & generally just feeling abit like I'm not producing content as fast as I'd like to, along with wanting to work on more personal projects. So I've been trying to make efforts to focus on my fundamentals, & essentially, "relearn" the medium. Which I'll admit, hasn't created the most exciting content hah. Though I'm hoping over this year, it'll help me be more confident & overall, increase my efficiency.

Anywho, that's what's mainly been on my mind. It has made me ponder on how I can better improve my workflow, especially the Patreon here, as I would like to put more professional effort into it & give supporters more content to enjoy. Over this next month, I'll be looking into updating coms & organizing them better so that slots have a "scheduled" time of when they're open & closed. Hopefully with this starting point, I can then gauge how much time I can share between paid work, Patreon, & personal work. I also definitely want to get back into the monthly "Symbiotizing" pic (I'm so sorry it's taken this long to get Razor done! I'll  work on him again someday but I might put him to the side for now so that we don't miss Febuary BUT HE WILL RETURN SOOOON!! DX) So hopefully can get back underway on those again soon. 

But yeah, that's all I had on my mind. Febuary might be another slow burn for content as I focus on these things (not withdstanding rl things I've got going on atm too) But hopefully as I work on each of these things, we should start seeing a more efficient Patreon here. & arting in general. Which hopefully means, MOAR ART!! \\..oOwOo..//

Sorry for the long winded journal, but thank you all again so much for your continued support! I do hope to make some strong strides this year. But hey, even if I only get the slots organized, I'll be happy with that ::::3
