Greetings!

Thanks for your support.

This whole thing is about the photos, and the people in them, so let's get it started with one magical Sunday, near the Salton Sea.

Kate and I had been shooting in Los Angeles for 3 days and our reward was to spend a day to ourselves. Originally we had decided to shoot near Palm Springs, in the Desert. Kate has travelled extensively and thought I would like the Salton Sea area, so that is where we decided to go. We spent half of the day shooting by the Sea itself, which was quite interesting, beautiful, and stinky!

There were a couple gowns we had from Chi Chi and the Greek Vintage, and I wanted some different terrain, so we hoped in the car and drove South.

It was February, and the day was getting short, and we came across some distant mountains. I think I was driving 100mph to get to a good location before we lost light. Prior to this shot, there was a closer nearby mountain we used, with a different gown, and we shot it for about 5 minutes. You could see the shadows creeping slowly up it's rise.

The funny thing is we had been so focused on that one mountain, that we never noticed what was going on, just 45 degrees to our right.

There had been zero wind nearly all day, and all of the sudden there was a steady 15 mile and hour breeze, blowing in the right direction ( away from us ), and then the Full Moon came up.

This simply was one of the most amazing days I have ever witnessed.

I looked back at the files later, and we had shot for maybe 15 minutes total.

I will put that set up a bit later, and hope this is a good place to start.

Greetings!
