この説明の絵めっちゃ叩かれたけど、簡単に考えると突き出た部分は服を持ち上げる。その分布が引っ張られて裾が上に上がる。
コメントで頂いた内容で、子供服は押し出される分を想定して裾を長く作ってるメーカーもあるそうです。
I got a lot of flak for this explanation, but if you think about it simply, the protruding part lifts up the clothes. The distribution is pulled and the tail rises.
According to a comment I received, some manufacturers of children's clothing make hems longer to accommodate the amount of push-out.
ローブとかも同じ考え方で描いてみるとわかりやすいかも。

なので服を描くときは一度体を描いてから考えると形が崩れにくくて良いと思います。
