Actually it's not the 2nd time Basara had been alone with her. Shinmai has side story content that fills in gaps and adds more context to various points in the LN. After the bathroom scene in volume 4, they start meeting up in the infirmary on a regular basis and their relationship takes a much more intimate turn since Basara starts teaching her how to better pleasure him, and they do all the stuff he wouldn't do with the other girls. So from the end of the sports festival until Christmas Eve (volume 6) Basara and Chisato had been getting hot and heavy. By that point, Basara was more than comfortable seeing Chisato naked and being intimate with her. The hero training is what keeps him from giving into his desires in the early series. However that doesn't work with Chisato. He briefly gives into his desires in volume 4, and volume 6 is the first time he fully surrenders to his desire. So I wouldn't say "clone wars" is the first time he's aggressive.

yup. pretty sure the first time they had some raunchy bathroom fun it was Chisato who had to start it. and i love that she implied she was blackmailing him to drag him to her place away from anyone who could pull that idiotic "comical interruption" crap most harem series do.

my guess/theory for that is that he's still not entirely used to how sexually aggressive Chisato is

Looks great. My only criticism would be the 3rd gif. Basara looks petrified. He doesn't look like somebody that is about to get some action lol.
