That last series and last episode in particular, were a bit of a shambles. They tried to work their way around Nicola Coughlin being unavailable for a lot of the filming and they didn’t make a very good job of it. Spoiled what was a great show and a potentially great finale. Some of the storylines in the final series, as King and Queen Boomer pointed out, were a load of nonsense too.
