Good film and reaction King Boomer, agree Om Puri is fantastic in this playing a flawed character, even 25-30, let alone 50-55 years ago the world and attitudes were so different, especially around domestic violence and even when this film was made I bet it had some backlash/ caused some upset with some. It has been requested previously but Om Puri is in Steve Coogan's film the Parole Officer, which was a good comedy/ crime caper
