1:18:35 Gervais* says to Ramsay "You think you're so hard, don't you? Cos you shout at people in kitchens. Who works in kitchens? Oooohh! Women and gays! Ooh! And the French! You're well 'ard."

* It's obviously what Gervais really thinks of G.R. πππ
Huge shout out for Jack Dee's 'Lead Balloon' (4 series).
For toe-curling cringe / social awkwardness laughs, it's up there with 'Extras' and 'The Office'.
It's Jack Dee's 'Fawlty Towers' and I don't say that lightly.
Synopsis: a deeply embittered and resentful stand-up tries to get his fading career back on track, with the help of his American writer / friend. And with no help from his Polish housekeeper or children.
Queen Boomer will love the Polish housekeeper character, Magda.
Also, shout out for 'Monkey Dust'. One of the darkest and funniest sketch comedy shows the UK has ever produced.
Co-created by Shaun Pye, who played Greg in 'Extras'.
'Monkey Dust' is scathing, razor sharp satire about life in modern urban UK (2003-2005), 3 series.
Voiced by Michael the Geordie from Partridge.
Also, Rebecca Front π
Morwenna Banks ('Saxondale', etc. etc. etc.)
Shaun Pye
And other great UK comedy talents.
'Monkey Dust' stands alongside 'The Day Today' and 'BrassEye'. ππ
