I can't believe you like extras and the office and you've never seen 'this country's or 'people do nothing' them shows won baftas doing mockumentary style comedy and both the actors of the show in interviews said they based their humour on the office and Ricky Gervais mockumentary style. So defo worth a watch if u like that sort of humour mate 😊👍

2024-02-21 23:58:35 +0000 UTCI agree that series 3 isn't as good as 1 and 2. For me, Karl was too grumpy here, to the point where for the first time I felt like he was deliberately exaggerating it as he knows people find it funny. He was also a bit too blunt and insulting at times too - he's such a naturally funny guy but less so when he's being deliberately obtuse and over-egging (yes, I said egging!) his otherwise natural personality. Warwick was also a bit annoyingly pedantic with the dress up stuff and I do think he seems a bit condescending with Karl at times but I do also think his role is to wind Karl up a bit and be bloody-mindedly the complete opposite of Karl in his approach. No script or actual instructions or anything but the general aim is to get the best out of Karl. I have no doubt that Warwick is a lovely bloke in real life. Karl too - he's not acting per se, certainly wasn't back in the XFM days, but he's more aware of the cameras and what people expect from him when they're watching at home.
