2022-06-13 20:32:08 +0000 UTCI remember a game that I used to play as a kid that combined kickball and dodgeball, I'm not sure what the actual game is called, but we called it shambattle. Basically, people line up on both sides of the gym, and pitch the ball to the other team. If they kick it, that team has to scatter, while the team that pitched had to retrieve the ball and touch it to the wall in back of them. When the ball touched the wall, the opposing team had to freeze. At that point, the person that touched the ball to the wall returned to the lineup, and had to try to peg one of the opponents. If they got a hit, then they got a point and got to throw again. If they miss, then it turns over to the other team. It was pretty much a neverending game, and we almost always lost count of the points in the end.
