The only thing I knew about the movie was the image in the thumbnail. So I did not expect cyber stuff at all, but it was fun. Also, the boy's voice sounds familiar to me. Sounds like Taki from "Your Name".

2022-06-17 18:35:47 +0000 UTCDigimon has a movie called "Our War Game (2000)" and this was done by the same Director of "Summer Wars (2009)". The two follow a very similar story steps, where the characters defend the world through a cyber battle, and the development of this fight affects the actual world; hence a lot of comparison. Both are good in their own ways, and there is roughly a decade in between so the differences and progress in tech is also fun to see :)
