Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior (2003) Movie Full Length Reaction

Comments

Also thought I mentioned some deleted scenes from the original cut. Ngek (the prostitute that Don drugged) is suppose to be Muay's close relative. She and Muay don't have the best of relationship due to their circumstances. When George went to check on her, Ngek gave George an envelope. After that Don chase, Ngek died from the overdose and Muay cried over her death. When George gave Muay the envelope that Ngek gave him, it turned out to be money for Muay's future. Muay then cried and said she didn't want the money. So that's why there was that scene where George was telling Muay that everyone dies someday before being kidnapped by that wheelchair jerk. It surprised me that they would cut these scenes out. I guess they felt like it dragged the story on but either way, I thought you guys should know that prostitute who was drugged was a pretty important character in the original cut that I saw.

This was the first Tony Jaa movie I saw and my first introduction to Muay Thai. Also please watch The Protector/ Tom Yum Goong which still stars Tony Jaa and the fight scenes are ten times as epic and the guy who plays George also comes back to play a different role with him. Also there is Ong Bak 2 and 3 but they are far different from first ong Bak becuz 2 and 3 are from the past with a warrior name tian. The first ong Bak was sort of a tians reincarnation as ting. I love that I got to see ur guys reaction to this movie and I hope you guys get to watch The Protector and more of Tony Jaa work.

It’s the best all around striking martial art. No coincidence the majority of MMA champs have a Muay Thai background.

Muay Thai is one of the deadliest martial arts in the ring because it involves all 8 limbs (knees, elbows, fists, and shins). And yes. Tony Jaa does all the stunts in his movies. All of them are great, I would love for you guys to check them all out. He inspired me to learn Muay Thai when was I was young.
