sulfa drugs are one of the more universal antibiotics and are also used in many other types of medicine. Me personally, I'm allergic to them, I'd try and see if I still am, as I've out grown most allergies, but it's not worth $35 to see an allergist, when I can just get non sulfa drugs just as easily.
