I was thinking the same, I mean sure the astronauts are typically the peak of human health and fitness so the base is pretty strong, but yeah 3 pairs and 3700 years later and the village is still filled with perfectly healthy, beautiful people?

2022-08-18 15:28:56 +0000 UTCI mean I have to say that I thematically really like the idea, that the thing that saved humanity was that our science was advanced enough for us to leave the planet itself and that a few of us would just be hanging out ther by accident🤔😊! But appart from that: There's no way in he'll 6 people could have a gene pool that would be diverse enought to support a population over thousands of years, the human rce would have died out long ago due to diseases and deformities due to inbreeding😅

Like you guys said, there were 3 and 3, so not a huge gene pool, I have no future knowledge from further than the show and it's not too much further than this, so from what I can tell there would be a lot of inbreeding within the village lol, so their features if they didn't get deformities would be very similar down the family lines.
