Togashi is just so *chefs kiss* at writing characters. No matter their alignment, they're extremely intriguing and engaging. Palm, Pouf, Hisoka, Gon....they're so contextualized that even if they're awful or crazy, you can't help but like/love them. Loving to hate Pouf I feel is exactly what Togashi wanted.

Pouf really is made to be hated🙈😅.
I think what maeks him so much worse than the other Royal Guards is the fact that he isn't able to change his views on things and acknowledge anyone besides the king having any worth.
Pitou has shown that she understands Komugi is worthy of protection (even if it is basically only because the King has deemed her worthy of protection) and Youpi has deemed Knuckle, Morel and Meleoron as worthy, since he decided to honor their commitment and their conviction by leaving them alive.
On the other hand Pouf has never shown any regard for anyone's life but the King's and even sees his peers in the Royal Guard as disposable (as shown in this episode).

The scene between Killua and Palm is great!
Seeing two people, that were previously unable to really express their emotions, spilling their guts to each other in this way is just heartwarmingly beautiful and has me tearing up every time.🥰😭
It also always gets me that Killua - in trying to get her to calm down and let her gurad down - completely broke and let his own guard down, because what he was trying to feign was just so close to what he was actually feeling, that he couldn't keep up the act and his actual emotions took over.😢
Also:
I find it kinda hillarious that Palm neded to be turned into a weird chimera-human hybrid before she was able to become a mature person that could controll and understand her emotions instead of loosing her shit as soon as something didn't go the way she'd wanted it to.
