I love this episode. It's so sad to learn both Aang and Zuko's backstory. In Aang's "frozen" timeline, the last time he saw Gyatso and to when he saw his corpse in episode 3 was only a couple of days. The amount of guilt he must feel is so realisitic. And for Zuko- his father sending him to "catch the Avatar" was what he considered to be a fruitless task. Him and his forefathers had searched for the Avatar for 100 years, so in reality he was banishing him forever with just enough of a task that Zuko had hope of return. I love when their stories parallel like this.
