The terms may be worth looking up as they don't really spoil the story but helps you understand where the story/conversation is going better. There's a glossary list in multi-language at the Anime official site (cyberpunk.net) if anyone's interested.

2022-10-05 02:59:16 +0000 UTCThat's the only problem with sub, and many people becasue of it stay with dub (at least from US/UK) since rest of the world is used to subs. BUT after the initial learn of fast reading and 10-20+ series done its actually no problem at all, it will also boost your reading speed everywhere, trust me i have around 200 titles with subs watched xD.

2022-10-03 12:09:52 +0000 UTCCorporations are ruling the world i this universe, Suits Corpo etc are higher ups rich kids, Trauma Team is a special rescue force that should react in 3-5min but you need to pay a lot for it and have a subscription, only for rich people. And the special forces team that killed the guy at the start is MaxTac, Trauma Team is "medical special force". Some world plot action is happening in USA (or what's left from it at least) in dystopic futuristic Night City year 2077 (renamed from Colorado/San Diego) world is ruled by Megacorporations, many places on earth are destroyed by acid rains, climate disasters etc, there was a economic disaster in the past that destroyed a lot of countries, USA or NUSA what is now called lost 70% of population and is divided with free states and free cities around only East Coast is fairly "united". Net was destroyed in the past and now only part of it is available behind big wall that protects from all netrunnes (futuristic hackers). World is pretty much fucked in many aspects but technology is still advancing fast, since rivalling megacorporations try to outmatch each other (there was x4 corporation wars in the past already) most of the world use eurodollars "eddies" ohh and Night City is "free city" not a part of NUSA, there is a lot of lore and whole timeline to check out, also if you play the game before or after its also quite a interesting part worth checking out.
