So glad y'all loved it! What a great film. It was the last one to win the "Big 5" at the Oscars- Picture, Actor, Actress, Director, and Screenplay (only 3 ever did this so far).
And yeah, as others mention on here/on YT, Manhunter was a separate adaptation of the prequel book, which they re-adapted within this particular movie series (release order: Silence, Hannibal, Red Dragon, and Hannibal Rising). And the Hannibal show is excellent but also a different adaptation.

Ah yes! Dr. Hahn from Grey's Anatomy! That is where I recognized her from! 😁

That was fun to watch again. It's cool to watch each of you two picking up on things.
Kacee with her bottomless knowledge of Grey's Anatomy facts @35:50 She picked out Dr. Erica Hahn when she was only 23 and putting herself thru school to become a doctor on her favorite TV show. That was really funny.
I also like that Hitchcockian moment when the pen was shown 3 times and you were both like " That Pen means something". lol Thanks for giving me a reason to watch this movie again.
I'm looking forward to you both watching Hannibal and Red Dragon.

Manhunter had a remake with Hopkins. It's RED DRAGON. So we can watch all 3 movies together now,
