No, you're right, I definitely agree with that!🙂 And as I said: I think it bothers me way more than it would in other anime exactly because hxh has less plot armor and so I expected it ti make this last step as well🤔

2022-10-11 17:55:55 +0000 UTCI understand, my point was is not plot armor based anime, like fairy tale is for example, there are definitely people dying in this series unlike in some others no one ever dies, or only villains, there is plot armor in HxH but as addon not main theme in my opinion.

Definitely not as much as most other series, but when it's all said and done, the only good guy (that was also a main character and not just a secondary to tertiary character like Pokkle) that died within the show so far was Netero. And besides, the thing that bothers me most about Kite is that we act like he's truely gone (to get the awesome Gon moment which I btw think is masterfully done) but then we go ahead and have our cake and eat it too and get Kite back anyways... And if I'm being honest that just feels like the autor didn't have the guts to actually kill of someone truly important...and that's fine to me if that is not the kind of story you want to tell. But just don't act like it is the story you're telling whilst leaving yourself a loophole to chicken out at the last moment. It feels like I'm being lied to and manipulated and I don't like that🙁 Don't get me wrong: I still really love hxh as a series and I think it does a lot of things amazingly well! But that is also the exact reason why it bothers me even more: Because I came to expect better🤔

2022-10-09 22:40:48 +0000 UTCI have to admit that Kite being "alive" is one of the few things I don't really like about the show. It is just a little to convenient and I have to say I actually liked the idea that not everyone in this show has plot armor🤔🙁
