Hentai Hero 29 & 30

We had no idea when the Church and the King would issue the emergency quest. I guess they’ll do it once a few more Heroes from the Frontline are here.

I could go and ask a high priest, but not only are they certainly busy, I don’t have time. We were using all the time we have left to practice my Hero’s new ideas and to make love. It was exhausting but I didn’t care. Even if all the adventures in the city and a few Heroes from the Frontline would be by our side, this will be the most dangerous quest so far.

Demonic beasts are vicious monsters and animals who fed on demon blood and meat. The Demons use them as weapons against us. When they first attacked us, the beast destroyed whole armies. If there are hordes of those things coming to the last city…

I tremble at the idea of facing them. I’ve only seen one once. It was when I was studying to be a priest. The Demonic beast was beyond terrifying and I can’t even imagine when we’ll be ready to face a real demon.

That’s why we spent the time we weren’t eating or training making love. I don’t wanna think of the worse, but I want to become one with him as much as we can right now.

By the way, everything Owner and Clerk taught me is very useful. I had no idea two men could pleasure each other so much like this. Even though I don’t wanna admit, I doubt I would feel this good if I was making love with a woman. Guess as long as my Hero is here, I won’t know and I don’t care to find out.

After the morning training, we had lunch and headed to our bedroom. We are lucky the Hero made us take so many quests before. Even after buying the ring, we had some money saved up and could do that. And it was also lucky because, right now, there weren’t many quests on the board. I think it’s because the monsters can sense the Demonic beasts coming and are fleeing the area. Most of the quests left are herb picking.

After we made love again, the Hero fell asleep holding me. I love to be in his arms. It makes me feel safe. Even so, I forced myself to leave my future husband’s arm. 

He was training hard on both sword and magic. He was getting stronger day by day, but I was having trouble with my training. His ideas are simple but if used correctly, I can help a lot. 

I said simple but it’s not easy to do it. Remember the bubble air and fire arrow combo explosion?

One of his ideas is a more powerful and compact version of that. I had to create a small air bubble inside a bigger one. Between the bubbles, I have to fill it with air and compress it. Inside the smaller ones, I should place a small flame. When the flame consumed the air inside that bubble, it’d burst it and explode the compressed air.

At least that was the idea. This way I wouldn’t have to worry about sending an arrow flame to hit it. But I was having trouble doing that. It didn’t consume much mana, but it was hard to create two bubbles and fill with air and fire. Besides, I had no idea if it was more powerful than the first combo. I couldn’t test at full power because my Hero said it was dangerous.

The other idea he had was even stranger, but he was confident of it. I had to create a small air needle strong enough to break skin, fur or scales. Apparently, if there’s enough air in a short time circling the veins, humans and animals can die. The Hero said he doubted it would be enough to kill a Demonic beast, but if they were animals and monsters turned into demons, there was a chance that could be enough to stop them for an instant.

If that’s true, then he could kill the beast at that moment. I hope that works because I can use it at close range, unlike the explosions.

We need to do anything and everything to survive. He proposed to me and I’m not gonna die without marrying the man I love.

“You’re working too hard,” a sleepy voice said, breaking my concentration.

I turned and saw my Hero waking up. I smiled at him and leaned closer for a kiss. “I need to practice whenever I can. Even an instant can be the difference between life and death.”

My Hero smiled. “You’re the best, but you also need to rest.”

He kissed me passionately and before I knew, we were making love.

It was even better than earlier. And, as always, whenever his sword was inside me, I forgot about the outside world. There was only a Hero and a Priest filling their love for each other.
 

Chapter 30

A week after my acquaintance priest told me about hordes, the Church and the King issued the emergency quest. 

The difference from a regular quest is that you cannot refuse. Everyone who was registered as an adventurer would have to participate, otherwise they couldn’t work as adventurers anymore. Not legally, at least.

The Demonic beasts would arrive in three days. I don’t know if issuing the quest now was good or not. Everyone would have time to prepare but that also made everyone nervous. Even with a few Frontliners (that’s how we call the Heroes and adventurers working on the Frontlines) and others like Hero 69, who were getting stronger, fighting by the adventurers’ side, there was a chance we could lose. If we did, the last human city would fall and mankind would be at the demons’ mercy. 

Because of that, there wasn’t a single adventurer who thought of putting his sword down. It’s not as if they weren’t afraid. It’s to protect everyone they love and know. 

Even so, the mood inside the guild was tense and instead of the usual singing and conversation, there were only adventurers drinking in silence. 

It wasn’t only in the guild building. The people were afraid too. And because they couldn’t do anything other than wait, even the slightest bump could start a fight. Since the guards were also getting ready, there was no one to stop them. In just one day, crime rose and spread around like it never had before.

“Can’t believe they’re already acting like this,” I said, worried as I looked throughout the window of our room. “Things will get worse once the demonic beasts arrive.”

“They’re afraid,” my Hero said.

“I’m afraid too, but I’m not going around stealing or picking fights for no reason! It’s like they were waiting just for an excuse to act like animals!”

“We’re different because we have something to do. Most of them don’t have that. We can die in this fight, but they can only wait without knowing. That is terrifying.”

“I know but don’t say such things… I don’t wanna think of either of us dying…”

“Priest…”

My Hero came closer and hugged me tightly. I hugged him back, feeling the warmth emanating from his body.

I can’t believe someone like me ended up falling in love with another man even after rejecting all those who wanted me before. But I’m glad it was with him.

Just like it had been the whole week, we practiced and made love. And then the day had arrived.

The Church and the Kingdom had divided the ones who would fight into three groups. The main one, where the Frontliners would be, was to face the strongest horde, the one heading to the city’s main gate.

The others were to guard the other gates. We were assigned to the South gate. There would be way less Demonic beast there, but it was still dangerous. There were a few Heroes like mine with us, but no Frontliners.

As he headed to our post, there was no talking. Even if we were used to fights, we were all nervous. We couldn’t fail. We couldn’t let a single beast get past us and enter the city.

We waited for what felt like an eternity. And then the first demonic beast appeared.

It was a huge wolf with grey and red fur. Its eyes were yellow and it glowed so much we could see it in the distance. It was forming and when it saw us, it let out a howl so loud we felt it echoing inside us.

Many by our side trembled and some even fell to their knees.

“It has an intimidating skill!” I shouted. A few Priest and mages with counter magic cast it on us, recovering those who fell a little.

Damn it… It already made us use mana…

The demon wolf howled again, but when it realized it had no effect, it charged at our group with amazing speed. As it crossed the hill, there came more demonic beasts behind it.

I closed my eyes and concentrated on the air and fire explosion combo. It was time to show the results of our training, Hero!
