I put off One Piece forever also because of the sheer number of 1000. But honestly, it's a bit deceiving. The episodes are in reality like 15 minutes each

Also in the dub Koala's voiced by Kaiji Tang who also does the english dub for Gojou in JJK. And I don't know if it was intentional but Koala in the dub sounds exactly like Patrick Bateman/Christian Bale from American Psycho lol

2022-11-17 02:16:41 +0000 UTCEven if longer series aren't always great and pack with action/fun as many short are, they are still delivering greatly in many other fields like climax of the arc, also having so much episodes makes you more connected with characters and remembered, that's why even if they not as constantly great they definitely deliver with the emotions in longer run. I would really love to have one long ongoing series on this channel, Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, Hajime no Ippo. One Piece is over 1k episodes it will take you years even with 4-6ep per week to catch up. Naruto and Naruto Shippuden together are also around 500 eps, worth watching but the real shit right now is Bleach, and the new arc and 6 episodes i watched already are masterpiece movie class animation. Hajime no Ippo all seasons are around 150 that's definitely my top 1 sport anime. I know what you guys feeling, maybe one day we will get continuation, but we need months of manga or more to be constantly made for this to happen, maybe years.
