Part 3's second half is significantly better than the first half. And part 4 and after and beyond are way more consistent and better written than part 3 and under.

It was extremely tedious going through the majority of the stand users and I ended up rating part 3 as my least favorite part (there are some amazing episodes in this part though). I even wanted to drop this show but the parts after this are amazing and more like parts 1 and 2 (stories with frequent plot progression), which is what I prefer instead of "stand of the week" encounters just for the sake of it.
