Jerk-Offs: Episode 6 "Goin' Steady"
Added 2024-12-02 15:32:54 +0000 UTCIt's been a long-LONG time coming, but we are finally here. Sorry for not having this out as soon as I wanted. When you have a big family like mine, Thanksgiving becomes a three-day affair! But enough about me, this is about the comic!
This is starting to mark a transition point for me. I've been reading a lot of Dragon Ball and HunterXHunter lately, and I've been kinda inspired to make "Jerk-Offs" into something that's a lot more... serialized. While before, I tried to translate my Rent's Low quick fire method into this with the "big boy comics" being a special little bonus on top of it. You can see it in how my Page counts keep increasing, but that quickly did not last. I like writing these characters, and this longer format allows for me to do a lot more with them than in just 2-4 pages. Because of this, I'm starting to shift my mindset and going forward, I'm gonna ACTUALLY plan ahead instead of winging it on the spot. At this time, I have the next "arc" planned out roughly, and Episode 7 is already drafted. I've made a template for my comics to make things SO much easier to keep consistent and save me time. I feel so... professional. hahah! I can't say when Episode 7 will come out, because I'd like to take it a bit easy after spending so much time and energy on Episode 6, but I'll still pepper in some light-hearted silly things along the way.

We haven't seen it yet, but Ethan is the kind of guy that rather than a dedicated friend group, he has a deep bench of acquaintances that has him bouncing to friend group to friend group. He knows a LOT of people, but he never really sees them as close. And about his affluencey... There needs to be some secrets... (or perhaps I haven't thought of it yet... Ahem)

I'm wondering what his friend group is like cause they reflect those apart of it, like Christie and her roommates do each other.

I probably should've communicated it better, but essentially she's trying to have this 'perfect moment'. Remember, she hasn't even showered, brushed her teeth, or even eaten yet, and while Ethan CLEARLY doesn't care, she does.
