AoT fell out of my top 10 anime because as you said the end was controversial and turned me off. Ik some people will definitely like it though.

2023-03-07 20:46:08 +0000 UTCThe phrase that you were both remembering was from My Hero Academia! Gran Torino said it to Deku he gave him his cape, referring to Shigaraki of course. It is very similar, Shigaraki and Eren are both wanting to destroy the world because their freedom was stripped away by a societal norm. Killing them could be seen as a sort of salvation.

They don’t even need to be reactions videos but they give a lot more depth to the characters. It’s funny because I literally just found out about them yesterday because I had no idea they existed but I’m glad I did before watching today’s episode. Watching the OVA’s made some of the scenes from this episode hit way harder…
