*PLEASE READ* How Does This Patreon Work? (FAQ)
Added 2020-06-30 03:01:42 +0000 UTCWe have been getting a lot of questions lately about how our Patreon works and when videos are expected to be posted and I figured that we would just make an informational post so that everyone is always on the same page! (If your question is still not answered please feel free to leave a comment on this post or send us a private message) :)
1. Why is the show blurred on Full Length Reaction Videos?
Due to copyright laws we are not permitted to include the entire show or movie we are reacting to. A timer and the first few seconds of the show and other guiding factors are included for syncing purposes. This means you will need to match up your own legal copy of the show with our starting point. Once you have the starting point matched up the timer should tell you where in the show we are. For some shows we will also include a short clip of the show mid episode for re-syncing purposes. This is usually for shows that are on more than one platform (usually anime) since different versions can vary. We start all of our reactions at the first scene of the show, NOT at any titles or intro logos. This is to ensure that everyone has an equal starting point no matter the platform. (This excludes shows that are exclusive to one platform such as Netflix or Prime.)
2. What is the best way to sync my version of the show to your reaction?
Most people just open up two browsers and have our reaction on one side and the show on the other, this also works well if you have dual monitors. We have also seen people who use the Firefox picture in picture feature, or alternatively, there are free browser extensions that you can find online that allow you to do picture in picture mode as well.
3. I have a show suggestion, where can I submit my request?
We tend to have our show schedule booked out pretty far in advance but we are always open to show suggestions! The best place to leave suggestions is in our Discord server where we have an entire channel dedicated to suggestions. You can also send us a message or leave a comment on any of our Patreon posts. Suggestions are taken into consideration and we truly value all of our Patron's inputs. However, there is no guarantee that we will watch your show. We occasionally do polls here on Patreon for new shows and our Patrons will always participate in the first poll to narrow down options for a YouTube poll. Patrons in our Dos Exclusivo tier will always choose the next "Patreon Premium" show via poll.
4. I'm having technical difficulties, what do I do?
Please message us if you are having any technical issues or if any links are not working. We will do our best to help how we can but we may need to refer you to Patreon support.
5. How do I navigate this site?
We organize our Patreon content through tags. You can easily see our full catalog of content by clicking the "Collections" tab which is located to the right of the "Home" tab.
6. What time are videos posted?
Our time zone is CST. We do not have a specific set posting time for our videos.
7. Where do we watch our shows?
We watch a majority of our anime on Hulu, Netflix, of Funimation, and Crunchyroll but it varies from show to show. We start all of our reactions at the first scene of the show, not at any titles or intro logos. This is to ensure that everyone has an equal starting point no matter the platform. This excludes shows that are exclusive to one platform such as Netflix or Amazon Prime and is usually geared towards anime as movies tend to be the same on every platform. If you are curious where we are watching a specific show then please send us a message on Patreon or ask in the comments section of our uploads.

I have seen more than one patreon page and youtube channel shut down after years because the rights holders stopped playing games and went after them. All those creators are doing is making reaction content harder, with more strict rules and more aggression towards those that are actually trying to stay in the confines of the law, and more calls to tighten the laws so reactions can't be done. I have no respect for those people.

You have to watch along from Netflix with reaction to get the full experience. They are nice enough to let us know when to start the episode so we can be synced with timing.

In Japan, the vocal cast for any new series or video game is spotlighted in marketing and promos because a popular VA brings immediate attention to a project. Conversely, can the overwhelming majority of Americans even name a single english-speaking VA that isn't already a celebrity? No. That is because anime voice-acting is a behind-the-scenes affair in the US which is also reflected in the quality of work.
