I love the contrast that's shown with Endeavor here - That while someone may be a piece of shit human being, that doesn't mean they can't be a great Hero professionally. What Endeavor did to his family is truly awful. On the other hand, there are probably countless people across Japan who are only alive thanks to Endeavor. Even if his reasons are selfish, the end result is the same. It's particularly interesting seeing this in juxtaposition with Stain's ideology - Given the existence of someone like Endeavor, is Stain correct that "false" Heroes should be purged so that only those with pure hearts and entirely selfless motivations remain? Or do you just have to accept that sometimes less-than-decent people, like Endeavor, are necessary for the safety and advancement of a peaceful, functioning society?
