Since you're looking forward to season 3 stuff. I'm wondering are we could see an Evil Mom for season 3? Leather Corset, thigh-high boots, dripping sexy... I'm talking the full Dom, boarding-school fetis? Because Ms. Robbins who plays Grace could bring some real "Hot for Teacher" vibes that would totally freak Diega out and the funny writes itself.
Throw Lila in the mix and we're talking some great laughs. Plus Klaus can point out that the only healthy relationship the Hargreeves kids could muster after 3 seasons was when Five was banging Delores. Because that joke will never get old.
Yeah, I think we need an Evil-ish Mom for Season 3. Basically, Grace should be able to put all the kids in their place being the perfect Robot Mom. She should be almost as strong as Luther, Allison's rumors shouldn't affect her being a robot, She should be able to drain sound waves to shut down Vanya. I mean she was built to handle her. Klaus is harmless until he finds a new dead friend since Ben is gone and Diego loves her. Maybe not in that way. I'm just saying Grace does have some power over Diego who clearly has more mommy/daddy issues than the others. And of course, Five should be left out as a wild card. We have to leave 1 of the group out. Because the full Academy should be able to stop Grace. This would be on par with Batman taking down the Justice League or Professor X taking out the Xmen. It's a comic book trope that needs to happen with Jordan Robbins bringing the 'sexy back' with some ass-kickin action to Netflix in something tight, black, and totally mean girl. Can you see it? Diego fighting Grace with 'Sexyback' playing as they both Reck the Academy trying to best the other. Only for Grace to one-up Diego first round, leaving him beaten on the floor? (Maybe Pogo steps in to help her) Yeah, I'm seeing at least 2 fights. Grace wins both. Because she's the mom.

I came to the same conclusion about the two Fives and the briefcase, as well as that Luther did execute a faux pas by revealing Vanya to be the cause of the Apocalypse. Also, it is really heartbreaking when you realize that Vanya's energy blasts this time are out of guilt, not anger.
